Description

This Grinding Stone is called thirukai kallu. This stone is used for grinding whole beans or dhal and etc. This process is whole urad dhal or whole beans such as whole mung beans, would be put in the upper cup area on the top slate and itï¿½ï¿½ï¿½s turned round and round with the handle. In this process, the husk of whole beans would separate and the split beans would be collected.
